Turning On Your Firewall
| If you are running Vista, this is how you can "Turn On" your Firewall.
|
| First, go to the Start Menu and select "Control Panel." |
|
Depending on your Control Panel settings, you may be in "Category View" If you have "Category View," click "Check This Computer's Security Status" beneath the "Security" option. If you have "Classic View," click on "Security Center." |
|
On the next screen, if the Windows Firewall is shown as "On," you're finished. If not, click "Windows Firewall" on the left. |
On the Windows Firewall page, click "Change Settings." |
Select "On" to enable the firewall, then click OK to finish. |
