Campus Labs and Computing Locations

Video Editing Station: While all of our Dell and Apple Systems are equipped with digital video editing hardware and software, one PowerMac G5 is equipped with hardware to convert analog media (VHS, Hi8, Cassette Tapes, etc.) to digital format for use in editing projects.
In addition to the software and hardware above, this G5 is equipped with:
- Canopus ADVC-300 (Digital to Analog Converter)
- Panasonic TV Monitor
- JVC Hi-Fi VHS VCR
- Marantz Professional Cassette Deck

In cases where digital to analog transfer is necessary (for example, your edited movie needs to be transferred to VHS instead of DVD), this station can also perform those functions.
