Junk e-Mail Management
Junk e-mail is seemingly inevitable if you have an e-mail account that you use even casually. Any mail sent to your @maine.edu address passes through a mail scanner to help tag junk e-mail as SPAM, making it easier for you to filter it all out.
If you're looking to cut down on the amount of junk e-mail you see/receive, we've got some tips that should help you out.
Quickly Delete Any Junk e-Mail in your Inbox
If you've got a lot of e-mail marked as '{SPAM?}' in your Inbox, there's a quick and easy way to delete most all of it.
Filtering Your Junk e-Mail
Filters allow you to automatically carry out certain tasks when you check your e-mail. You can easily create a filter to move or delete any message marked as {SPAM?} when it arrives.
Create a Filter in Horde

This will create a rule that automatically marks any message tagged as "{SPAM?}" to be deleted. You'll still have the opportunity to view the message and confirm you want to delete it. You will need to press the Purge Deleted button to remove these items from your mailbox.
